Lately my car has been doing some weird stuff that seems to point to the electrical system. When driving at night, sometimes the displays for the clock and the odometer will get brighter and then dim for no reason. Also, if I turn off my headlights and have only my fog lamps (or whatever they're called) on, sometimes they will turn off and come back on by themselves, and the regular headlights also sometimes dim slightly for no reason. On a completely different topic, one of my speakers is rattling whenever anything bass-heavy plays. My car is a 2000 Dodge Intrepid (and yes, Vegeta, I'm aware of how much you despise anything made by Daimler-Chrysler).

Sounds like a possible grounding issue. Electrical systems are really hard to diagnose, though.

Here's some pics of my GTI. Unfortunately it's been raining lately and the stupid dealer still put a dealer badge on the car even though I specifically told them not to (and it was on writing, too). Going to remove the badge and license plate bracket ASAP, they can pay me if they want to advertise for them.









Going to get it lowered sometime this summer, put some tint, and get the ECU reflashed for more power.

Yeah, I love the Hufeisen 18" wheels It's nice to be unique and since there's not too many GTIs in Edmonton (or Red Deer, they all drive pickups there), that makes it all the better.

What size are they? I was looking at a pair of 18 or 19" versions of the same rims for my GTI but I think I'll stick with the stock Hufs since they look unique.

Word, I've never owned a car with a sunroof before (actually this is my first car) so it's really new and fun to me. Does gas mileage go down noticeably with the sunroof almost all the way open?
